Elementary Scholars Pullout Program: 2nd – 5th Grade
Our Scholars Program is designed for students who show strong academic potential, curiosity, and a readiness to be challenged. Scholars are selected through a thoughtful review process that considers the whole student—not just one score or measure.
How Scholars Are Selected
- Strong standardized testing scores
- Academic achievement and classroom performance
- Teacher recommendations and observations
- Consistent effort and a positive attitude toward learning
- Good conduct and responsibility
- The ability to manage additional academic expectations
- A well-rounded commitment to school and extracurricular activities
While standardized testing is an important part of the selection process, it is only one piece of the picture. We also consider classroom performance, teacher insight, work habits, conduct, and each student’s ability to take on additional academic expectations.
Our goal is to identify students who are prepared for advanced learning and eager to grow through meaningful challenges.
An Intimate Learning Environment
Our Scholars Program classrooms are intentionally small, with limited seating available. This intimate setting allows students to receive more individualized attention, participate in meaningful discussions, ask thoughtful questions, collaborate with classmates, and engage fully in challenging learning experiences.
In a smaller classroom community, each student has ample opportunity for their ideas to be heard, strengths recognized, and growth closely supported.
