Why do you love working at CFA:

Teaching at Christ Fellowship Academy is so much more than a job to me. It is a true calling and a place that feels like home. CFA is family because it is where my faith journey truly began. It is where I was baptized, where I was married, where my oldest children attended school, and where my youngest now attends. Every day I walk through these doors, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness throughout every season of my life. The greatest blessing of all is having the opportunity to teach young children about the love of Jesus, planting seeds of faith in their hearts and sharing the same life-changing truth that transformed my own. There is truly no greater reward. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

 Life Bible Verse:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Brief educational/department philosophy:

My teaching philosophy is centered on putting God first and viewing each student through the lens of His love, nurturing the whole child spiritually, emotionally, and academically. I believe every child is uniquely created by God, learning and growing at their own pace while possessing unique gifts and purpose. Because I believe in each student’s God-given potential, I hold them to high expectations and provide a rigorous, engaging learning environment. At the same time, I meet each child where they are, offering the support, encouragement, and guidance they need to embrace challenges, grow with confidence, and reach the full potential God has placed within them.
