Why you love working at CFA:
I am looking forward to teaching at CFA. After being an educator in public school for 29 years, I am excited to be teaching in a Christ centered envronment where I can freely include Biblical truth in its proper place in history.
Experience:
In education since 1997, at CFA since 2026.
Associates Degree in History.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies Education.
Certified to teach 5th through 12th Grades.
Ordained Minister in 1995.

Brief educational/department philosophy:
History is the record of God’s interaction with Man. History is people. If you understand the people, then the why, when, and what they did will fall into place. I belive in teaching the great things people have done and not hide Man’s failures and sins, but to be honest about the past. History is the memory of our civillization, If we loose our memory, are we the same? Teaching history from a Christ centered perspective results in a proper understanding of history and God’s redemtive plan in it.
