How do I apply for my child to attend CFA Online Learning Program?

If you have already enrolled or applied for the 2020/2021 school year, please email to request a program change from on-campus learning to  our online learning program. If you have not yet applied or enrolled for the new school year, follow the directions on the website to register.

What scholarships can be applied toward the tuition for the Online Learning program?

At this time, online programs are eligible for the Florida Tax Credit (Step up For Students) and Gardiner scholarships.

What are the hours for the Online Learning Program?

On line hours will be similar to the on campus schedule. Specific times and schedule will be determined at a later date. Online students will take breaks throughout the day and are required to virtually attend school lessons and specialty classes live.

Is there a deadline to register for the Online Learning Program?

Please apply for the online program by June 30th. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Once the online learning program for your child’s grade is full, your child will be placed on a waiting list. After June 30th, a $50 fee will be applied to change from on-campus learning to the online learning program and is subject to availability.

Do I have to commit to the Online Learning Program for the entire school year?

We are asking for you to commit to the entire school year. However, you are required to sign an agreement committing to the program for the first semester (first and second quarter):  August 24, 2020 – January 14, 2021. We will ask you to sign a second agreement committing to the second semester (third and fourth quarter) by December 11, 2020.

After the school year starts, can I move my child from the Online Learning Program to an on-campus classroom or vice versa?

CFA allows for one program change during the school year and charges a $50 program transfer feeIf you decide to change programs after the first semester, it is subject to availability and the fee will apply.

Is my child guaranteed an on-campus spot if I decide to transfer them from the Online Learning Program after the first semester?

No. The Online Learning Program is a separate class from on-campus classes. Enrolling for on-campus learning in the second semester is subject to classroom availability
