Why do I love working here? I love working at CFA because our school is one of a kind! The teachers and staff are like family to me and my children. They support me and love on my family, and I know they pray for us when we need it. And-the students here really are special! I love being able to share my love of music and teach the kids about worshipping our Lord and Savior, too!

Years of Experience: Music has always been the framework in my life. From age 9, I was singing solos on stage in church. In school, I was in chorus and band. I was Drum Major and led the Marching Band as a high school student, and joined the worship team in my church at age 14. I taught and directed preschool before my kids were born, and have stayed home with my 4 kids for the last 13 years.  I taught and homeschooled my own kids until 3 years ago when we moved to Miami from Oklahoma. Christ Fellowship Miami and CFA quickly became our home.  I have 8 years teaching experience, and 10+ years of Music performing and education.

Philosophy:Music encompasses all of our lives, from radio and video games, to worship in church—I hope to teach the children a love and appreciation of music, as well as a desire to Worship the Lord through music. In my class, each student will learn Rhythm, instruments, and how to perform. During this semester, we will be focusing on all aspects of music, including Rhythm, Reading Notes, Time Signatures, Musicality, Dynamics, Composers, Instruments and a ton more!
