CFA Veterans Day Parade

Join us for joint chapel in the Worship Center at 8:30 AM as we honor our Veterans with a special presentation, parade, and much more!

Christ Fellowship Academy is proud of the men and women who have given their lives to preserve our freedom. As a way to honor their sacrifice and to show support for our current military, we will be celebrating Veteran’s Day with a special chapel and parade on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 8:30 am in the Worship Center.

All parents and families are welcome to attend this special time. We will have special tributes and performances as well as a slideshow highlighting those of our students who have loved ones, past or present, in a branch of the military.

This is also a Free Dress Down Day, so students may come dressed in a patriotic shirt and jeans or uniform bottoms.

We would love to include a picture of your family member who has served in the military in our slideshow! Please email Mr. Tito at evillavicencio.vol@cfmiami.org with one picture of the service member, along with the branch of the military, rank, years served and status(current/active, retired, or deceased) in your email. Also, include your child’s name and his/her teacher.  We would love to show the connection between the students and their family members who have sacrificed their lives for our country.

In addition to the photos for our slideshow, we would be honored to have the presence of the service member attend our special chapel. They may come dressed in their uniform or civilian clothes, whichever they desire. Please email Mrs. Rohrer at arohrer@cfacademy.org if a service member will be coming to chapel along with the military branch, rank, and status (current/active or retired).  We will honor them during the parade and give them a special gift.
